Summary

Job Description

This is an opportunity to be part of the management team within the Quality and Resources team supporting the Principal Engineer and to provide leadership and management across a range of activities.

You will support on the management of performance, quality management systems, health and safety requirements, training requirements, and winter maintenance within Roads & Infrastructure Services.

This team manages a wide variety of tasks, and we are looking for individuals with leadership skills, and willing to bring fresh innovative ideas to the role in how we operate and deliver this service.

As a Senior Engineer you will be part of a service that is responsible for looking after over 5,400kms of roads in one of the most beautiful and diverse areas of Scotland. All this spread across 6,313 km2, spanning from sea level to and elevation over 1,100m, including the highest road in Scotland, the A93.

There is a responsibility for the post holder to demonstrate a commitment to quality service delivery through continuous improvement for the benefit of the Service and the organisation.
